We're looking for a

Production Manager

to join a well-established manufacturer in Tameside. In this role, you'll support the Managing Director in overseeing daily factory operations while ensuring full compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecast, reorder, and manage materials for the factory. Collaborate closely with production departments to understand processes and material needs. Conduct regular checks, assessments, and internal audits to maintain and improve quality standards. Drive quality controls to reduce issues and delays. Oversee the induction, training, and ongoing development of new production staff. Take responsibility for health and safety across all departments. Plan and execute a comprehensive schedule of internal and external audits annually. Manage maintenance and servicing schedules for all equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in health and safety is essential. NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is highly desirable. Strong administrative and communication skills are essential. Proven experience in negotiation and administration is highly valued. A background in a production environment is advantageous.

What's in it for You?

Salary: 35,000 per annum. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Job Type: Permanent from day one. Benefits: Onsite free parking and extensive training on systems.
