Established in 2008, we import a range of 80+ superfoods direct from growers around the world and sell them under our own brands, in bulk, direct to consumers via Retailers/Amazon and as private label. Full Time Office Based GO Superfoods is seeking to recruit a Production Planner who is responsible for planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity. This role involves coordinating with various departments, including procurement, production, sales, and logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective production processes. The Production Planner has multiple areas of responsibility, namely Planning / Operations / Supply Chain, but the role is not limited solely to these areas. Some tasks require overall ownership and accountability by the Production Planner for their success. Requirements
Key Responsibilities Use various Excel planning tools to monitor internal and external finished goods inventory, and accurately plan production to ensure stock levels stay between min/max inventory. Create and arrange shipments to go to external fulfilment centres (UK and EU). Update and evaluate forecasts from commercial teams, identifying risks and opportunities. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and into stock for our own brands. End to end processing of production orders through SAP, allocating the optimum batches. Optimise the production plan by grouping the same or similar products where possible, to promote efficiency and achieve the site segregation plan and clean as you go procedures. Ensure the production plan is completed, right first time (RFT) and on time in full (OTIF). Assess production capacity and make recommendations for adjustments to production schedules or resources. Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Aid with SAP queries from other departments (i.e., stock transfers, batch information, mass balance). About You Analytical approach to working, with a high attention to detail. Able to Think Critically Under Pressure (TCUP) with rapidly changing and potentially conflicting priorities. Be teachable, have the ability to learn and absorb knowledge. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in production planning software and ERP systems. Able to interpret large amounts of varying data, and have strong numeracy skills. Other Information
