As part of our dynamic team at the Scunthorpe site, you will help deliver high-quality poultry products to major retailers. This site has received continuous investment, ensuring cutting-edge facilities and optimised production processes. About the Role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll primarily be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance during production shut down over the weekend. Key Responsibilities Conduct all engineering and maintenance repairs on-site Efficiently handle machinery breakdowns and ensure equipment safety Maintain firefighting systems and ensure staff are fully trained on safety standards Coordinate maintenance priorities and manage inventory of critical spares Oversee building upkeep and manage schedules for maintenance teams About You This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in mechanical maintenance. Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential. Key Skills Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR time-served relevant experience Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or refrigeration (certification is a plus) Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working autonomously Working Hours Weekend Shifts Only: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Alternating weeks of Days and Nights: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am Benefits Ongoing training and development opportunities High overtime potential Why Join Us?
