Quality Engineer . If you prioritise innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement in its production processes. Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (IATF16949/ISO9001). Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to processes and prevent occurrences of non-conformity relating to product, process, or system, providing feedback. Conduct data collection activities to define issues and drive improvements. Lead quality-related issues for internal, supplier, and customer concerns. Support with scrap and RFT initiatives, identifying ways to drive improvements and reduce costs, emphasizing defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste, and continuous improvements to meet or exceed customer expectations. Conduct first off/last off sample approvals and have a working knowledge of the application of SPC and MSA principles. Identify root causes and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues using proven methodologies such as 8D and supporting tools. Ensure Control Plans, PFMEAs, and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained. Support the internal audit program with layered process audits, and product and process audits. Ability to read Engineering drawings and Control Plans. CMM application and CMM programming knowledge advantageous (but not essential). Support all necessary activities to ensure a robust Quarantine process and system is in place. Qualification/Experience:

Proven problem-solving ability using a known methodology (i.e. 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.). Proven audit experience, and good working knowledge of IATF16949 and VDA standards. Proven knowledge of core tools (including MSA, SPC & ISIR) and GD&T principles is essential. Good understanding of manufacturing processes. Awareness of six sigma techniques is beneficial. Understanding of quality systems. Understanding of auditing with a process and risk-based approach. Knowledge of measurement methods and techniques using equipment.
