You'll work at their Lancashire site, close to Preston with good transport links and free parking, with a hybrid pattern of 4 days from site and 1 day from home. Your new role As a Financial Controller for the Lancashire site, you will be responsible for preparing financial results and developing reports in line with procedures and regulations. You will provide management with comprehensive insights into the financial impact of operational performance, enabling them to make informed decisions and take necessary actions. Your role will involve month-end closures, preparing plans and estimates, supporting the CAPEX process, and acting as a financial co-pilot for the management team. You will also optimise SAP for users in Operations Controlling and ensure accurate reporting and controlling of costs. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), although QBE will be considered, with some post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment. You will have a good understanding and experience with standard costing, and advanced Excel technical skills, with experience with SAP in manufacturing being desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well within a small team, and the ability to communicate and present effectively to both finance and non-finance individuals are essential. You should pay close attention to detail, use initiative to drive performance and improvements, and be able to work independently with a proactive approach. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary up to £55K, plus a bonus and benefits, which includes 26 days' holidays, an enhanced pension contribution, and various others contributing to employee wellbeing. You will have a hybrid working pattern of 4 days from site and 1 day from home, and an early finish on a Friday afternoon.
