We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning firm near Cambridge who are looking to recruit a Financial Planner to join their team. Clients will be provided from a retiring Financial Planner. You will provide independent financial planning advice to the clients, including areas such as Pensions, Investments, Protection, and non-mainstream products. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in financial services is required. You will have QCF Level 4, but it would be desirable that you have QCF Level 6 or are nearing attainment of it. Main Duties: Provide independent financial planning advice. Always treat clients in a courteous and professional manner, showing respect for all clients, colleagues, and business associates at all levels. Maintain a track record of satisfied clients and a high level of retention of clients. Work in a busy and dynamic office environment. Manage a busy and varied workload. Work to deadlines with changing priorities. You should be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to cope under pressure and maintain a professional standard. A positive can-do work ethic is essential. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience working in financial services. A QCF Level 4 or equivalent qualification is essential; QCF Level 6 or nearing attainment is desirable. Develop professional qualifications in line with the requirements of the role and the firm’s needs. Willingness to achieve and maintain a level of competence as required by the business. Complete all training prescribed by the firm within the given timescales. Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately. Adhere to compliance requirements and procedures as guided by Risk Management and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
