Insight Travel Services Ltd is a shared service centre for The Travel Corporation (TTC) Group, a global travel business with numerous brands and offices worldwide. Based in Inverclyde, our team supports various group companies, providing essential finance services. What You’ll Be Doing As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations of our finance department. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: Managing the accounting function of an overseas company Preparation of monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts Overall responsibility periodic forecasts and cash flow projections Preparing and filing quarterly Swiss VAT returns Reviewing balance sheet and other reconciliations Liaising with auditors remotely during external audit process Ensuring group internal control guidelines are followed and reporting deadlines are met About You We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic finance environment. Key attributes include: Strong technical knowledge with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook at advanced or intermediate level Highly organized and able to work to tight deadlines Proactive and flexible attitude French language skills and knowledge of Swiss VAT would be useful but not essential as full training will be provided You’ll enjoy an annual travel credit, the flexibility to work from anywhere for two weeks each year, and two paid days off to volunteer for causes close to your heart.
