The DNA of tech. Where You'll Work & The Scope: This position will be located in Newport, South Wales, U.K. and you will be working within the IT department. How You'll Help Us Build the DNA of Tech: Responsibilities: Develop and operate the local network and telephone environment (based on Cisco and Fortinet) Develop and operate the local VMWare ESXi environment Windows Server and AD administration Support for business applications running on the IT infrastructure Involvement in local and global IT initiatives Work with our business customers and our global IT organization Ensure and develop local IT security 1st and 2nd Level Support for IT issues Requirements Education and Experience: University degree in the field of computer science 5 years' experience in IT Excellent analytic and conceptual skills Strong technical knowledge in local network environments (i.e. CISCO switches) Strong technical knowledge in VMWare ESXi environments Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft AD, Server and Client environments Preferable Linux server experiences Preferable experience in manufacturing environments and with manufacturing IT systems in a 24/7 operated Fab Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
