We are looking to recruit a new Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our friendly, dynamic, and enthusiastic team of Gastroenterologists based at Scarborough Hospital. Main duties of the job The post is offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over five days and you will be part of the general medical on-call rota. We are open to discussing any specific or specialized job plans that candidates may desire, including flexible/less than full-time working. Candidates must have a higher medical qualification (MRCP or equivalent) and be on the GMC Specialist Register for General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology or be within twelve months of obtaining the CCT at the time of the interview. Your clinical skills and expertise will be of a high standard covering Gastroenterology. There is a voluntary limited option to cover General Internal Medicine. Familiarity with issues of service organization and development would be particularly advantageous. This service is well supported by a sister Hepatology department, which manages routine and emergency Hepatology conditions.
