We are looking for a highly motivated Town Centre Manager, taking responsibility and accountability for project management and ensuring the council is pro-active to business and Town centres needs and seen as being ‘engaging and open to business’. You will work with departments across the council, and with external stakeholders, to support and provide business support in the delivery of a wide range of projects and service improvement initiatives designed to coordinate the delivery of the council’s business growth priorities, with the objective of supporting businesses and high streets in Brent to grow and thrive. The successful candidate will have a good experience, knowledge and excellent understanding of Business engagement, Economic Development and Town Centre management along with knowledge of business demographics within Brent and across London more widely. You will be forward thinking, innovative, positive, and drive improvement. You will forge and maintain excellent working relationships with councillors, senior officers, and fellow team members, as well as external stakeholders. You will have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy, with good attention to detail. Closing date: 5 November 2023 (23:59)
