Job summary The post holder will work for Digital Services within the Digital Programme Office providing overall management and support for the Wearable Device Projects (Virtual Ward). The Digital Services Senior Project Manager will lead on project scoping, producing project plans, management and delivery of projects within scope, time, quality and budget as well as development of business cases, specifications and supporting business change. Alongside our two acute hospitals, we provide integrated health and social care services across various settings, including community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and within people's own homes. Job responsibilities The Senior Project Manager will act as the lead coordinator for the Wearable Device Project (virtual ward), overseeing multiple workstreams and ensuring seamless collaboration between various stakeholders. The role requires managing complex project aspects, including liaising with suppliers (procurement/contracts), ensuring infection control signoff, and obtaining necessary clinical and information governance approvals. The postholder will be responsible for creating, documenting, and implementing the processes necessary to support this innovative project. The role involves regular reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including NHSE, and the ability to present progress and outcomes at regional forums and to other NHS Trusts. This position requires significant engagement across the Trust, interacting with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with key departments, particularly the Clinical and Digital teams, to ensure alignment with the project's goals, objectives, and the electronic patient record.
