My Client is a Major UK travel giant hiring for a Senior Data Scientist to join their well-established Data Science function, spearheading a range of commercially applicable Machine Learning projects! As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a small team of Data Scientists working on a range of ML projects, solving commercial challenges through a variety of Machine Learning techniques. Your responsibilities as a Data Scientist will include but not be limited to:
Solve operational challenges & problems through a variety of Machine Learning techniques.
Create models and products to tackle significant business challenges.
Generate new metrics, reports, and dashboards using historical data, real-time data, and predictive analytics to facilitate informed business decision-making.
Gather data from diverse sources to generate insights that can be used as inputs for digital tools.
A successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following:
Min. 3 years commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
Strong exposure solving operational and commercial challenges through Data Science & Machine Learning.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferably background in operations/ operational research and solving challenges in operations.
Excellent use of Python and SQL.
Minimum of BSc in STEM subject or Operational Research.
