Our client, a market leader in manufacturing and engineering services, seeks a Quality Engineer to join their Stansted base. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting with quality issues and with assurance of the Quality system in a manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities and Duties : Assisting in all matters about the work of the Quality Department. Undertaking special tasks as directed by the Group Quality Manager. Assist in making provision for training of Quality staff. Keeping the manuals, expositions and other systems documents up to date and placing them on the server. Conducting audits internally within the group. Liaising with production personnel regarding technical queries. Liaising with customers over quality and technical queries. Liaising with auditors over quality auditing of the facilities and systems concerning existing approvals. Constantly monitor existing systems and instigate changes and/or originate new systems. Assisting with the control of sub-contractor/supplier records and ratings. Monitoring the scrap note system and assisting in the issue of reports. Collating information required for Management Review. Carry out root cause analysis and with production's assistance put in place the required corrective actions. Managing and investigating non-conformities. Key Performance Indicator, Delivery Schedule Adherence and Time Delivery data management.

Experience and Skills Required : Proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English. Good knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001. AS9100 auditing experience. Q-Pulse knowledge desirable but not essential. Experience in MS Office, Excel, Word, etc. Use of printing/copying facilities.
