The Client My client is a renowned main contractor in Central London, specializing in delivering exceptional results in the super-prime residential sector. They re seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, someone eager to grow and develop within their dynamic industry. If you are passionate about high-end construction and have a keen eye for detail, they want to hear from you! The Role As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you ll support the team in various stages of the construction process. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in tendering, construction management, and client relations, contributing to projects that set new standards in luxury residential living. Key Responsibilities Tendering

Conduct accurate take-offs from drawings and plans. Prepare and collate sub-contract packages for review.

Construction Management

Draft and issue sub-contract orders. Conduct valuations for sub-contractors and the main contractor. Prepare and process change orders. Attend client and team meetings to discuss project progress and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills Education:

Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (recent graduates and undergraduates currently working toward their degree are encouraged to apply). Technical Skills :

Comfortable using computers, with strong Excel literacy. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately. Basic understanding of contracts and legal documents is preferred.

Personal Attributes :

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication, with a presentable and professional demeanour when liaising with clients. Ability to follow instructions closely, learn quickly, and work well under pressure. An inquisitive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in the industry. Reliable, deadline-oriented, and able to adapt to project demands.
