About The Role Are you ready to drive excellence in the logistics industry? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Manager to join our team in Wolverhampton. The Role: As the Senior Operations Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our logistics function, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our distribution centres. From overseeing inbound and outbound shipping activities to maintaining top-notch accuracy and quality standards, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain operations. Main Duties include: Be the primary point of contact for all inbound shipping activities. Organize and oversee receipt, replenish and put-away operations to ensure accuracy and quality. Meet receipt targets, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Lead recruitment, development, and management of staff, ensuring adequate training and supervision. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency. Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize stock management and availability. Manage budgets and lead projects aimed at improving inbound performance. Working hours: (average) hours Monday to Friday, covering a 6am till 2pm shift. About You As a Senior Operations Manager, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG. What you'll need to succeed: Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and LEAN principles. Excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to change. Ability to lead and manage change effectively.
