We are looking for an experienced and driven Finance Business Partner who, whilst working as part of a team of experienced Finance Business Partners, will be the Finance lead responsible for period end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for specific divisions of the group. This opportunity will suit a qualified accountant or QBE who is ambitious and self-motivated. You will be part of a strong team and be comfortable engaging with peers and colleagues to deliver reporting and support on a timely and accurate basis. Key duties and responsibilities include: Producing and reviewing the Group consolidated management accounts, providing insightful commentary and identifying areas to improve reporting efficiency. Responsible for the creation of the budget for these divisions and to understand and provide constructive challenge to their business partners. Improving the quality, impact, and understanding of reporting on business performance, including the development of non-financial KPI analysis to monitor performance against plans. Development and creation of financial forecasting, decision-making support, and commercial analysis. Creation and support of capex business cases. Delivery of robust financial control, including the development and implementation of improvements in processes and procedures. Seeking continuous development and improvement in client service and processes. Highlighting operational or financial risks and, where appropriate, providing advice on potential solutions for minimizing these risks. Building strong working relationships with business partners and their teams. This role will require travel to regional sites in accordance with duties. The skills: A Qualified/QBE accountant. Previous experience of Finance Business partnering. Confidence with exposure to senior stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills. Advanced Excel skills. Good understanding of the effective use of accounting systems. Microsoft NAV and Cognos skills desirable. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic business!
