Description The Scottish FA is looking for a Data Scientist within our Football Performance section to design, build, and maintain a data environment containing multiple, diverse data sources that can be used to identify and monitor key performance indicators for the Scotland international teams. The post holder will support the Sports Science and Data Manager with the gathering and integration of data to develop insights and visualisations into different National team's performance through a data led approach.

The ideal candidate will have established experience in a similar data-driven role, preferably acquired in elite football environments, a strong understanding of statistical modelling and regression analysis techniques, and some experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic, the ideal person will have a "can-do" attitude, will want to deliver change for the organisation and therefore will embrace learning and provide ideas for improvement. This is a mostly autonomous role, so it's important that the person is self-motivated, can work within set deadlines and communicates effectively with the rest of the team. The role is offered on a permanent basis and is located in Hampden Park; however, flexibility in terms of travelling and working hours is a must.

Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be allocated by the Sports Science and Data Manager.
