Here's what you'll be doing

Base location – Nottingham (Hybrid role) Salary – £55,501 - £71,634 plus excellent employee benefits and career progression The Go-to-Market function within the EIS (Energy Infrastructure Solutions) business at E.ON focuses on offering innovative energy solutions to cities, municipalities, and industrial customers to help them achieve their climate targets cost-effectively. The EIS business unit aims to become the preferred transformation partner for sustainable and innovative energy solutions. Main Responsibilities of the role Create and execute a cohesive digital content and social media strategy aligned with business goals. Develop an Influencer marketing strategy in collaboration with the social media specialist to identify key influencers and partners. Lead, mentor and upskill a team of digital content and social media specialists, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Embed a dotted line structure for virtual teams into marketing managers and facilitate regular virtual team meetings to promote collaboration and shared ownership. Work closely with design, product, and performance marketing teams to deliver cohesive, impactful growth strategies. Responsible for the oversight of the development of crisis management plans across social and content alongside the External Affairs team to ensure coordinated responses. Oversee the creation of high-quality, SEO-optimised content across digital platforms whilst continuously reviewing and optimising content based on performance data. Identify and implement new tools, platforms, and approaches to improve efficiency, creativity, and performance. Stay ahead of digital trends and incorporate innovative tactics into strategies. Use data and analytics tools to track performance, uncover insights, and inform strategic decisions across digital content and social media. Drive commercial success by setting KPIs, optimising campaigns, and delivering measurable outcomes like engagement, conversions, and revenue. Ensure digital and social content complies with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards. Provide consultancy on content architecture, design, and copywriting best practices. Oversee the content & social media calendar, conduct regular audits, and develop an overall content & social media delivery plan. What we need from you

Proven experience in leading digital content and social media strategies with measurable success. Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and mentoring high-performing teams. Deep knowledge of SEO, Content marketing, and Audience engagement strategies. Experience driving innovation and cross-functional collaboration. Effectively build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior management, listen to others, and incorporate diverse ideas to achieve shared goals. Strong commercial acumen, take a data-driven approach to decision making with a focus on optimising performance and ROI. Expertise in digital tools and platforms, including CMS, Social media analytics, and scheduling tools. Creative thinker and problem solver, adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment.
