Reporting to the General Manager, the main purpose of this Intake Manager role is to ensure the effective running of the Goods Inwards department and stock management. Working closely with the wider purchasing, technical, and management team, this role is key to delivering stock and managing the transit of stock throughout the business. Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 and Saturday on a rota, 07:00 – 12:00; however, the role will demand a flexible approach to deliver the needs of the business. We require someone with a friendly personality and the ability to develop good working relationships across the business and develop their team. Main Responsibilities

The day-to-day management of the intake team Ensuring intake traceability systems are managed and controlled Timely receipt of all goods/deliveries and control of the intake schedule QA/QC of all deliveries, ensuring the quality/weight is to agreed orders and specifications Stock rotation and stock management of all goods We would welcome applications for this Intake Manager role from candidates with skills in intakes, stock management, FLT, poultry, QA, QC, inventory, SLAs, leadership, people management, warehousing, goods-in, stock control, or previous experience as an Intake Manager or Warehouse Manager. Good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with managers in other areas of the business to deliver the common goals of the business in terms of profitability and provision of agreed service levels to customers Willingness to embrace change and the ability to work to tight deadlines Desirable Skills

A background in fresh, chilled meat/poultry is preferable but not essential, together with a current FLT licence (both Reach and Counterbalance). Full hygiene training will be given. About Company
