£600-1125 per week (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education are working with a Secondary School based in Salford who are looking for a progressive and supportive English teacher to join their team. This will be a long term role covering a maternity from Monday 24th February. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic teacher of English who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available.
As a Teacher of English you'll be expected to:
Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
Have a passion for teaching secondary English
To deliver English lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
