Kalman & Company is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to work on a hybrid schedule in Stafford, VA. This position offers comprehensive benefit offerings including (but not limited to) 401K match, health and dental, life insurance and PTO.
Hybrid work scheduled, with only 1-2 days at the Government site per week.
Flexible work schedule to allow for appointments and personal events.
Opportunities for travel, but no more than 25%
Responsibilities:
Perform research and maintenance analysis, develop and deliver project integrated schedules, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), info briefs, and meeting minutes for PM MHTV.
Assist development and documentation of records that assist MHTV PdM and DPM.
Provide direct support in researching, drafting, and coordinating various plans and objectives.
Provide Operational Resource Analysis (ORA) for the program offices.
Provide technical direction to monitor work performance of Government Support Organizations, Prime Contractors, and Subcontractors.
Ensure completeness of project contract deliverables.
Solve or recommend solutions to problems or risks regarding program phases.
Conduct business case analyses of engineering changes
Required Education/Qualifications:
An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in appropriate business or technical discipline is required.
Excellent and proven ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with customer/sponsor stakeholders and senior/executive leadership in government and industry.
Outstanding organizational skills, Team-oriented mindset and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, diverse, and virtual team environment.
3+ years Acquisition experience in ACAT I and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in transitioning a Major Defense Acquisition Program through life cycle phases
Experience with DoD/IT related programs.
Knowledge of policies, procedures, and activities involved in working a program office during the execution and management of a Major Defense Acquisition Program.
Experience working with Federal Agencies and the Federal Regulations (FAR)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Ability to present both written and oral information to non-technical top managers and other specialists clearly and concisely.

Desire candidates with military experience, preferably USMC/SYSCOM
Experience at ACAT I level
Experience at all acquisition milestones
