Rapid Response are looking for HCPC and NMC registered professionals.

Rapid Response provides a Countywide service to manage and treat patients who present with an acute illness or exacerbation of a long-term condition. Our aim is to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate early discharge from the acute hospitals. Rapid Response Clinicians work a range of shift patterns and shift duration is 10.5 hours.

Applicants must have relevant post registration clinical experience; cannulation, phlebotomy and IV administration skills are desirable. You should be an adaptable team player and possess excellent problem solving, communication and IT skills. Community experience is desirable but not essential as a full and comprehensive induction program will be provided. A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport with insurance for business purposes is essential.

Complete new and follow up activity and deliver planned treatment and/or refer on to other appropriate members of the Integrated Community Team to provide ongoing support. Working Countywide to support with all aspects of 2-hour Urgent Community response within own level of competence. Regularly evaluate care plans to ensure they are up to date and appropriate, reporting clinical changes or areas of concern to the appropriate member of the team. Provide skilled clinical interventions, support and advice to colleagues, patients and carers. Where applicable, issue medication under a PGD appropriate to patient needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols and within the scope of practice and legislative framework.
