Role and Responsibilities: Performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts. Producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Participating in quality assurance and service development initiatives. Traveling to various community sites to deliver services. Essential Criteria: A degree or diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or other relevant regulatory body. Experience in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. A valid driver’s license and access to a car, as the role involves visiting various community sites. Desirable Criteria: Experience with advanced ultrasound techniques and procedures. Proficiency in working with specialized ultrasound equipment. Requirements: Valid and active NMC Registration. Minimum of 6 months demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse with medical proficiency. Excellent understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Empathetic, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
