£35.00 We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who will be assessing the needs of adults within the community for equipment and adaptations, helping them to become more independent and remain at home. What will your responsibilities be? Conduct assessments for adults requiring equipment and adaptations, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Identify and recommend equipment and adaptations to promote independence, providing appropriate information and advice to service users and their families. Collaborate with other agencies such as Housing, NHS, and voluntary organizations to ensure the best outcomes. Ensure that completed adaptations meet the assessed needs and provide equipment to enable the best use of the adaptations. Stay updated on developments within the Occupational Therapy equipment field, and maintain professional development by keeping a professional portfolio to meet ongoing Health Professions Council registration needs. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Supportive team environment Qualifications and Experiences: To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Proven experience in adult occupational therapy, particularly in community settings, is essential, along with experience in assessing for equipment and adaptations. Strong skills in identifying and managing the needs of adults, excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) are also required. Additionally, you must have a current driving license and access to a vehicle, and be willing to consent to and apply for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. How to apply?
