Here at Lifeways in Tipton, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally, you will have previous experience in Care/Support Work; however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us. This service is in a residential street in Tipton, close to local shops, pubs, and takeaways. There’s a local library and plenty to see and do in the local area – The Black Country Living Museum is right on the doorstep, and Dudley, home to Dudley Castle and Zoo, is less than 2 miles away. Transport links are excellent – the bus stop is meters from the service, and from there you can get to Dudley, Birmingham, and Wolverhampton. Tipton train station is less than a mile away, with connections to Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, and beyond. For people who like to stay active, there’s a local leisure center and a choice of gyms, plus some amazing outdoor spaces to explore – Victoria Park and Wrensnest Nature Reserve are both within walking distance. This service is an 18-bed apartment for people with learning and physical disabilities, brain injuries, or autism.
