Summary
AS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN, you will be responsible for coordinating all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of hospitalized patients and long-term care facility and outpatients in a variety of settings. You will perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, The Joint Commission, and other licensing and regulatory agencies.
This position will be covering both Penn Highlands Huntingdon and Penn Highlands Tyrone.
Qualifications
Four year Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition or comparable major Successful completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours under the supervision of a registered dietitian Registered Dietitian (RD) by The Commission on Dietetic Registration (Candidates eligible for registration may be considered with the understanding that registration will be achieved within 60 days of hire) Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) by the PA Board of Dietetics and Nutrition What We Offer
