As an Emergency Care Practitioner, you’ll assess and manage patients with acute injuries and illnesses. Your duties will include: Conducting comprehensive physical assessments Ordering diagnostic tests Interpreting results Making timely treatment decisions Administering life-saving interventions such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillation, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Stabilising trauma patients Providing pain management Suturing wounds Managing a wide range of medical emergencies You’ll be able to work well under pressure, make fast judgement calls, communicate calmly and professionally with patients, their families and the wider healthcare team, and deliver exceptional standards of care. Nursing Requirements NMC registration 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting
