Main duties of the job

To be a team member contributing to the delivery of therapy services across the Medicine speciality, alongside the senior leadership team. To provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team. To use client-centred approaches to patient care. To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision. To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working. To lead on service improvement and quality initiatives. To use the Trust electronic patient record system. To abide by all Trust policies and procedures. To respond flexibly and creatively to challenges. Working for our organisation

Experience and Knowledge

Experience in a relevant junior role, including management of various conditions. Developed/Specialist clinical skills within relevant area. Delivery of relevant audit and service improvement. Experience in a client-driven/NHS environment. Experience of training/supporting/supervising others. Qualifications and Training

Degree in Occupational Therapy HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist Evidence of specialist post-graduate CPD activities Evidence of post-graduate training within specialist area Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate complex information effectively. Organised, prioritising workload and delivering results. Commitment to development and improvement. Ability to use initiative and resolve problems. DBS Checks All new employees will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if required for the role.
