A large FM and Maintenance contractor who runs a contract for the Ministry of Defence to maintain UK MOD sites has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This is a temporary role for 6 months on a rolling contract. The role requires security clearance to BPSS level. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to cover a £2-3 Million package of refurbishment works for various MOD sites. This will be based 4 days on sites in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire, one day WFH. This is a high-profile client and the buildings are numerous and varied in age and purpose. Typical projects are re-roofing, replacement, total refurbishment of living accommodation blocks, and re-tarmacing of roads. As a Project Manager, you play an important part in delivering projects in a safe and risk-free environment. This includes management of safety, CDM, issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Responsibilities:

Meeting with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines, and costs. Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members, and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements. Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members and supply chain. Monitoring project performance from external contractors to ensure timely delivery. Preparing and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders. Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation. Developing excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders. About You:

You will be an experienced construction project manager with experience in a construction environment and/or working within a refurbishment and small works construction background. Trade/degree or equivalent qualification in suitable construction/management or Engineering discipline. IOSH/Nebosh. CDM knowledge. This role is subject to enhanced security vetting as you will be working within the defence estate. Please do not apply if you will fail this vetting.
