Your new role Belfast Central Mission (BCM) is an award-winning leading charity with social care projects and social enterprises across Northern Ireland. With over 300 staff and volunteers delivering services across Northern Ireland to support people at their point of need.
Kirk House is a “Housing with Care” facility in which independence, freedom of choice, self-esteem and dignity are respected and promoted. Residents are supported to maintain links with their family and local community; and the level of care each receives is tailored to meet their individual needs. Kirk House is situated in landscaped grounds, comprising 42 individual flatlets, four of which are designed for couples and two for disabled residents. One wing provides safe and supportive accommodation for nine residents with dementia, providing a pioneering approach to dementia design with a homely feel to make residents more comfortable, independent and reduce confusion.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our residents. Using a person-centred approach, you will support a wide variety of residents with all aspects of their day-to-day living, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.

What we need from you 1 years’ experience working with older people in a residential or community setting at a senior level QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care OR equivalent qualification Experience of working with people with dementia and administration of medication is desirable
