Nestled in idyllic woodland in Canwick, Glebe Farm is a wonderful nursery school and haven for exploration.
We are looking for passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

About the job:
Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences Maintain stock levels and ensure stock rotation Be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines Deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required About you:
Level 2 Food and Hygiene Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH Reflect the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together What we can offer you:
Salary: From £10.42 up to £10.62 per hour based on experience and qualifications Storal will cover the cost of transport to the nursery setting Annual wellness day off Company sick pay Access to retail and other discounts through Perkbox Holidays increasing to 22 days after 2 years service and 25 days after 5 years service Performance related bonuses Dedicated learning and development support Access to one-to-one confidential counselling sessions through our Employee Assistance Programme Storal is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
