THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is working with a leading buyout private equity fund with multi-billion AUM to identify an associate to join the team focusing on new deal origination and execution. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career by making your first move onto the buy-side and to pursue a career in private equity covering a range of sectors. THE ROLE:
Conduct detailed industry, market, and company-specific research.
Build and maintain complex financial models for transaction analysis and company valuation.
Participate in the due diligence process and coordinate with external advisors and consultants.
Prepare investment committee memorandums and presentations.
Assist in managing and monitoring existing portfolio companies, including strategy implementation, financial review, and preparation for exit.
Develop relationships with management teams, co-investors, and other relevant industry professionals.
Support sourcing new investment opportunities and contribute to the fund’s investment strategy.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field from a top-tier university; MBA preferred.
Class of 2022 from a tier-one or leading boutique Investment Bank.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of investment valuation techniques and financial statement analysis.
