Laboratory QC Analyst
Part-time – 22 to 30 hours p/w available – flexibility to what hours for the right person Ware - SG12 Cooper Lomaz are currently recruiting for a Lab QC Analyst on a part-time basis ideally for 28-30 hours a week over 4 days; however, will consider 22 hours+ over 3-4 days for the right person. This is a new position to assist a growing Lab-based team based in Ware, manufacturing a range of specialist samples. This new role is to ensure quality standards are maintained within manufactured batches and to monitor compliance. The successful candidate will have experience working in a scientific/chemistry/lab-based environment with some exposure to compliance and internal quality standards. Day to day, this new position will be ensuring internal quality standards are retained and be involved in quality testing methods, whilst monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the quality KPIs. Day to Day Responsibilities:
Ensure customer documents are generated. Maintain quality standards. Be proactive in quality testing methods. Monitor, measure, and report on quality KPIs. Generate and implement procedures. Act as the principal point of contact for quality. Make quality decisions. Conduct compliance investigations and root cause analysis. Handle day-to-day administration requests. Key Skills and Experience:
Scientific/chemistry background. Working knowledge of GC/QC testing. Excellent communication skills, being tactful and convincing. Accurate and well-organised individual. Experience in driving improvement. Flexible approach. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to react positively to tight deadlines. Good computer skills. Familiarity with laboratory test methods/Microsoft Office/Formpak/ERP (preferred, not essential).
