As a Biomedical Scientist at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science, haematology, and biochemistry. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and have the ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will: Deliver quality pathology services and be prepared to take a share of covering on-call service out of hours. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, through to quality control. Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables. Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures. Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients. Helping you feel good.
