Connex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Nottingham area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work on a regular relief cover basis starting in March. You will have strong teamwork skills as the school in question has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve student and school goals. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those who require personal care, in a dynamic and inclusive classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years. Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children Have behaviour management skills Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc Be organised and reliable Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one Willing to go the extra mile!
