Competitive Daily Rate, DOE (Outside IR35) About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Epicor Consultant with a background in Epicor Version 10 & Kinetic to join our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant who combines ERP expertise with a background in software development. You’ll be instrumental in supporting and enhancing Epicor implementations, working directly with our client’s team to optimise their systems and processes. This contract would also suit a senior Technical Business Analyst with a background in software development. Key Responsibilities: Provide consultancy on Epicor Version 10 & Kinetic, assisting in the configuration, implementation, and customisation of the system. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions. Develop and customise Epicor modules to meet specific needs of the manufacturing environment. Provide technical support for ongoing system performance and issue resolution. Leverage your software development skills to enhance workflows and integrations within the Epicor system. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure smooth operations. Skills & Experience: Proven experience working with Epicor Version 10 and Kinetic ERP systems. Strong software development background (preferably in languages such as C#, SQL, .NET, or similar). Experience working within the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and how Epicor ERP supports these workflows. Hands-on expertise in system configuration, customisation, and integration. Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable steps. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience with Epicor’s EDD (Enterprise Development Studio) and Advanced Customisation. Knowledge of cloud-based ERP solutions and experience in data migration projects.
