2 year initial contract with strong potential to extend or become permanent Must have active NV2 Clearance to be considered Located in Williamtown About the Company Our client is a highly reputable Defence Consulting company. About the Role The Network Technician will be responsible for supporting the timely and effective capability decisions, focusing on ICT training, governance, operational support, and capability development across a number of key projects. Tasks include: Providing in-house ICT training and mentorship Assisting with policy and governance Managing sustainment of trial ICT capabilities Facilitating fleet and after-sale support from third-party suppliers Coordinating training delivery, sustainment establishment, and fleet management activities Coordinating technical maintenance of ICT fleet Managing controlled cryptographic material to enable usage of ICT fleet Requirements Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Network Technician CCNA certification Must have active NV2 Clearance to be considered Networking and cyberspace knowledge Routing and switching essentials Server administration and configuration Awareness of Defence technical regulatory requirements Cryptographic security knowledge Radio frequency fundamentals Network information assurance and configuration management Basic electronics and satellite systems knowledge Terms Must have NV2 Clearance or higher to apply The role is 100% based in Williamtown 2 year initial contract with strong potential to extend or become permanent Start ASAP (they can wait for the right person to give notice to their current employer) Paying up to approximately $86 per hour inclusive of super (possibly slightly higher for the right person) commensurate with skills and experience
