Job summary We are looking for a Cyber Security Controls Engineer to analyze security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and ensure cyber security compliance for components/control systems. Key skills required for this role Important We're looking for a skilled Cyber Security - Controls Engineer to join our client. In this position, you'll analyze security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and ensure cyber security compliance for components/control systems. Working closely with various teams, you'll enhance control software, implement security standards, and maintain ongoing threat analysis processes. Responsibilities include: Enhancing control software to meet cyber security standards on multiple platforms. Developing and implementing security standards and procedures for control systems. Implementing secure network protocols for control systems. Conducting ongoing threat analysis and risk assessments. Ensuring high standards of software quality control. Supporting project execution and providing technical expertise for control system projects. Participating in cross-functional activities such as meetings and quality improvement initiatives. To thrive in this role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in software/controls/electrical engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in Cyber Security implementation within control systems. Strong programming experience in C++ and preferably in C#. Knowledge of control and communication systems including Modbus, TCP-IP Ethernet, and network communications redundancy. Familiarity with automation and control system cybersecurity standards. Knowledge of operating systems such as QNX, Linux, and Windows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
