Construction Managers from an Electrical background and experience in the delivery of large-scale M&E projects will enjoy working for this Contractor in the delivery of a Data Centre development in Slough! Manage day to day Electrical Installation activities on site, keep an up to date schedule of works, manage a team of supervisors in the delivery of this highly technical facility. This is a great opportunity to become a specialist in your field and work on one of Europe's largest Data Centre projects for a major tech client.

Roles and Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager to manage and supervise on site personnel on a busy construction site Lead by example - set, monitor, and enforce the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work Take responsibility for health and safety on site Ensure that employees have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents and take action as appropriate Manage and train apprentices in accordance with relevant training Use the purchasing system to acquire materials as required in the most cost-effective manner Reduce costs as far as possible Assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client

Experience Required: Electrical Trade qualification 2 plus years’ experience in a similar role at management level Ability to manage subcontractors, comfortable dealing with multidisciplinary teams Technical understanding of mechanical systems Proactive people management Proactive approach to EHS, Quality, Commercial and Project Planning
