The Role As a Supportability Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of the MoD Type 31 Frigate Project. Day-to-day, you’ll conduct reliability, maintainability and supportability analysis programmes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct system and equipment decomposition Support delivery of system, equipment and class supportability and reliability Support the reliability centred maintenance programme Support delivery of the reliability and maintainability plan and case reports This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home subject to workload requirements. Essential Experience: Background in Marine Engineering, process, plant or automotive industry engineering Prior experience of complex systems in supportability analysis and maintainability techniques Ability to work in a multi-discipline team Strong written communication skills; the delivery of well-structured, unambiguous technical documentation and reports Qualifications: Degree or HNC qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical, marine, electrics/electronics or systems) or relevant experience Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
