A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client who is based on the South Coast near Brighton. They are a leading commercial catering equipment company supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They offer a full turnkey solution to their clients by carrying out service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has come up due to continued demand and new contracts starting.
The Commercial Catering Engineer will be required to provide service, maintenance, and breakdown of catering equipment, including fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The Commercial Catering Engineer will be attending sites across Brighton and the surrounding area, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. The commercial catering engineer must hold Comcat qualifications, such as Comcat 1, 3, and 5. They will also consider electrically qualified catering engineers.
Commercial Catering Engineering Position Overview As a Catering Engineer, you will be carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of catering equipment, including restaurant, hotel, school, and pub catering appliances such as cook line equipment and ware washing. Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.
Commercial Catering Engineering Position Requirements Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications - desirable Minimum experience working as an Electrical catering engineer Commutable distance to cover Brighton and South Coast The successful candidate must have Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage Full UK driving licence
Commercial Catering Engineering - Brighton Position Remuneration £43-45k depending on experience 40-hour week Door to door travel paid 1 in 6 weeks call out rota and paid retainer Company Van, personal use and fuel card Overtime - 1.5x & 2x 21 days holiday rising to 25 days after 3 years' service plus bank holidays.
