Our client in South Yorkshire is looking for a Product Support Engineer. As a Product Support Engineer, you will work with a team of Product Managers, Software Developers, and Quality Assurance, pivotal in bridging the gap between product development and project implementation, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our client offices. The role will help ensure the seamless delivery of new software, features, modules and products to the project delivery team. Principal Accountabilities: Implement new software modules. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between our offices. Maintain strong working relationships across product and project teams for seamless planning and integration. Understand and match customer requirements to our value proposition. Configure systems to meet customer specifications. Develop deep knowledge of our solutions and become a subject matter expert. Track progress from sales, design, testing, and FAT to release and implementation. Develop comprehensive documentation and checklists for stable and scalable system delivery. Ensure detailed and tailored documentation for new clients, reflecting their system architecture and design. Create technical handover documentation for project stakeholders. Maintain organised and accessible documentation for future reference and audits. Key Personal Attributes: Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills. Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness. Committed to exceptional client service. Experience: Providing technical solutions for enterprise customers. Delivering technical/IP network-based projects. Understanding software development lifecycle, quality assurance, and hardware integration. Technical training in software in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows platforms, IP networking, Windows Domains, Virtual Machines, system replication and backups, firewalls, and port security. Beneficial but not essential: Experience with video storage, digital video, digital data management, and Cloud technologies.
