PCB Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to capture circuit diagrams for new electronic designs. The role involves designing PCBs to embody the circuits, ensuring layouts conform to the requirements of IPC, as well as RF, thermal, and design for X requirements. You will ensure design integrity using all tools provided.
Responsibilities:
Design PCB layouts that are simple and easy for manufacture, adhering to project or production agreed timescales. Ensure drawings and documents used to support the PCB design are clear and unambiguous. Provide thorough and comprehensible answers to NCRs as part of the Materials Review Board. Ensure that manufacturers can easily use the produced PCB design data, including Gerber files, with minimal questions. Aim for a minimal number of Change Requests on newly released designs due to PCB layout errors. Minimum Requirements:
HNC in engineering, or equivalent qualifications considered. Experience in the engineering product life cycle and development phases. Preferably a minimum of 4 years’ experience in PCB design. Experience working within the Aerospace Sector is an advantage.
