Energis is currently recruiting for a Quality Technician / Engineer for our client based near Belfast. The successful Quality Technician / Engineer will evaluate the quality systems, processes and procedures to drive quality throughout the business and create a safe working environment. Responsibilities: Ensure the company follows compliance requirements. Work towards improving processes, generate reports and document QA systems. Monitor and develop inspection processes. Contribute to quality assurance policies and write procedures. Take information gathered from an NCR (Non-Conformance reporting) spreadsheet and using root cause analysis identify and inform by e-mail the correct department to rectify the issue. Present NCR information to the management team to help identify the cause of reoccurring issues with a view to putting measures in place to bring the defect rate down. Assist with preparing paperwork for audits. Work closely with line managers to create and update SOPs. Carry out quality audits on departments measured against current company KPIs. Produce final inspection checklists.

Criteria: Minimum 1-2 years’ quality experience within manufacturing. Proven record of continuous improvement achievement. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with a problem-solving attitude. A keen eye for detail to achieve the highest standards of Quality. Proficient in using MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience. This role can be carried out over the course of a 4 or 5 day working week.
