R&D Engineer in HVAC/Cooling systems , Leeds based, up to c£50k

THE ROLE Part of the product R&D team, you'll be focusing on the design and development of liquid cooling applications. Taking responsibility of designated projects through initial scope, design, testing, prototyping and manufacture. Undertaking engineering calculations for water based units to incorporate heat exchangers, pumps plus fans & refrigeration components. Drawing up plans & schematic drawings via 3D CAD and modelling software. Liaising with internal teams on controls and electrical systems, plus suppliers to create a working bill of materials - handling to budget and agreed programme.
THE PERSON Essential: Seeking a design engineer with working experience of liquid cooling and/or an HVAC R&D background. Proven track record of delivering development projects within an R&D team. HNC/Degree educated in an engineering related subject.
THE PACKAGE A basic salary in the c£44-50k bracket, with excellent company benefits to include 25 days holiday and high pension contribution.
THE LOCATION Ideally based in the Leeds/Bradford area, with some home working available once fully trained. Suitable locations include: Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Halifax.
