Procurement Manager – Fleet Maintenance

Procurement Manager opportunity specialising in Fleet Maintenance, Damage and Insurance categories for a leading European based services organisation. This is an exciting strategic role focusing on both commercial and category management. We are partnering with a market leading European based services organisation, who is looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Procurement Manager (not a Fleet manager) to support their European wide category spend across Maintenance (servicing/repairs, tyres, parts, fluids, towing and other) and Damage (Gross Collision, Damage Collection, Short Term Maintenance). This is a pivotal and standalone role within the European business, therefore we are looking for self-starting individuals with exceptional category knowledge across Fleet Maintenance and Damages, to manage a regional spend in the region of £120m. Key Responsibilities: Leads and executes sourcing projects, including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management, contract execution, plus management of the project team. Implements systems and processes that will enable the measurement & tracking of category cost and service levels to industry benchmarks. Negotiation of contract terms including warranty provisions. Leads regular business review meetings with suppliers to review SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives. Identifies and resolves supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Creates win-win commercial arrangements with suppliers whilst maximising commercial contribution. Generates and brings meaning to data, to explain business performance and support commercial decisions. This role will connect with internal UK & EU Country stakeholders, supply chain colleagues, maintenance director & senior management and also with external suppliers.
