Van Driver 3.5t (TEMP WORK)
for our companies within UB postcode areas (Uxbridge / Greenford / Southall / Hayes / West Drayton etc) PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED PAYE between 12.89 and 15.69 per hour (including holiday pay) Excellent rates of pay! Holiday pay! On-going position for the right candidates! Register today and start work within 1 week! Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months! Type of shifts (depending on company): Multi drop deliveries in and around M25 (up to 20-30 drops only) - B2B deliveries Car and Van (incl. Sprinter/Luton) Deliveries Delivering catering equipment, printers, electrical supplies, piping, flooring etc Builders merchants - tool hire equipment Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends) Start times can vary between 5:30 and 8am Duties: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Rates of pay: We pay for a minimum of 8 hours a day (breaks are not paid) Overtime is paid after 9 hours PAYE between 12.89 and 15.69 per hour (including holiday pay) Requirements: Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN) Manual driving licence You must be over the age of 25 years for insurance purposes At least 1-year experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred (references required) Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
