Platinum Employment has a NEW Temporary assignment for a Catering Manager to join an Education setting in Gloucester with a January 2025 start for at least a month!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality catering services for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of catering operations within designated schools, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations. Recruit, train, and manage a team of catering staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants. Monitor and control food costs and labour expenses to ensure budgetary compliance. Liaise with school management and staff to understand their catering needs and preferences. Organise and manage catering services for special events and functions within the education setting. Assist with food preparation and cooking. Adhere to school meal guidelines and dietary requirements. Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS Certificate (on the Update Service). Proven experience in a catering management role within the education sector. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate. Food Allergen Certificate. Be able to commute to Gloucester daily.
