Your new role This UK based company with several sites in the leisure arena are seeking a Cluster / Regional HR Manager for their Sheffield site and 2 sites in the North West (near Blackburn) for a 12 month FTC (there maybe a permanent role in the future due to company growth).
Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely with the Site Operations Directors/ General Managers you will be the regional Point of Contact for all HR related issues.
You will provide a full generalist HR and people service - covering all aspects of HR, recruitment, employee lifecycle and employee relations. You will also drive the people agenda and strategy of the group concentrating on engagement, L&D/upskilling and group focussed initiatives.
All the sites you will cover are unique: Sheffield - new opening in autumn 2024. New employees and management team. NW/Lancashire - some challenges (coaching and L&D required). Blackburn - smaller site with a lot of long serving staff who are good performing a team. Minimal supervision.
You will manage your own diary but expect to be in Sheffield 2 days a week and near Blackburn 2 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor or a seasoned HR Business Partner / Manager to join a high performing organisation who is growing.
What you'll need to succeed A Generalist HR background in the leisure industry or a fast-paced environment / transferrable experience sector such as retail, manufacturing, logistics or care/homes. Be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level). Strong HR / ER knowledge and experience. Passionate about generalist HR provision and enhancing a performance culture through supporting and upskilling employees of all levels. Driving licence and car owner.
What you'll get in return The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary of circa £45000 - DOE and qualifications. Annual Bonus (details TBC). Mileage/travel costs from 'base site'.
