Our client is a fast-growing luxury travel company specializing in worldwide bespoke travel itineraries. They create unforgettable tours focused on personalized design, authentic experiences, and responsible travel.
Due to growth, they are now seeking a service-led Sales Manager for the Africa Travel team. This is a new role solely focused on sales performance management, reporting directly to the head of department, and creating and nurturing a safe and inclusive environment while developing the sales team's individual skills and enabling them to perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
Empower team members to do their best work through facilitation and coaching, allowing each individual to thrive in their own way.
Analyze available data, sales metrics, and team performance to maximize each enquiry and increase performance end-to-end.
Work with the Head of Region to increase overall conversion, speed to market, and revenue.
Prepare, develop, and support team members through challenges while identifying and resolving issues within and across teams when/before they occur.
Facilitate sales training and call coaching to your team and wider business as needed.
Conduct weekly 1-2-1's and call coaching sessions with your team, providing regular feedback and personal growth opportunities.
Experience Required:
An experienced team leader or manager (essential).
Extensive experience in a luxury sales environment.
A passion for luxury travel.
Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
Experience in working to targets and monitoring performance through a CRM.
An analytical head for numbers, booking trends, and sales metrics.
Dynamic and adaptable to change while maintaining targeted focus.
Self-aware and approaches each day with a growth mindset.
Able to actively listen and demonstrate empathy and self-awareness.
Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary of £42,500 + Bonuses.
Bonus potential of £15,000 - £20,000.
